OnePlus is Becoming A Pro with 7 Pro – Facts vs Rumors
Almost every smartphone manufacturer prides themselves in their own Pro phones. OnePlus Philippines finally jumps on the Pro variant bandwagon. Within a week’s time, we get to see the final unveiling of their new flagship series. Anyhow, as excited as you are about this phone, we have gathered some revealed facts about OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro as well as rumors that circulate around them.
- OnePlus 7 Pro offers 3 rear cameras and features 5G connectivity.
- OnePlus 7 series will be the “new era of Fast and Smooth”
- They won’t be equipped with wireless charging as it would not be as fast and efficient as OnePlus’ Dash Charging technology, as stated by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau.
- A downside to the series is that headphone jack is still nowhere to be seen on the phone.
- OnePlus 7 series has UFS 3.0 storage. UFS essentially stands for Universal Flash Storage. It improves the connections between storage and phone. OnePlus may be the first smartphone company to market this feature. This means the series will perform faster than any similar smartphones from competitors and can handle higher temperatures.
Release Date: OnePlus 7 series will officially be launched on May 14.

Now here’s the tricky part about OnePlus 7 specs. We do not know for sure if the specs leaked by smartphone insiders are entirely accurate. So, let’s just view these OnePlus 7 specs as rumors for now:

Did you spot anything different in this leaked photo of OnePlus 7 Pro? Yep, there’s a pop-up front camera lens used for selfies, which is why it’s notchless. Plus, the “chin” bezel at the bottom of the screen also appears to be slimmer than the previous OnePlus models’. For all we know, the design looks tip-top as usual. With regards to storage, OnePlus 7 Pro might come in either 128GB or 256GB.
